St. Andrew’s Ball

Always an Unforgettable Evening
Every year, the St. Andrew’s & Caledonian Society of Vancouver hosts the St. Andrew’s Ball, an elegant and spirited celebration that brings the community together in honour of Scottish culture and tradition. The event has long been a highlight within the Scottish-Canadian calendar, offering an unforgettable evening filled with warmth, fellowship, and lively cultural expression.

Dine. Dance. Celebrate.
Guests gather to enjoy a traditional Scottish dinner, share a dram with friends old and new, and immerse themselves in the rich atmosphere of music, heritage, and dancing. The ballroom comes alive with conversation, laughter, and the unmistakable sense of connection that defines this celebrated occasion.

A Long History
Throughout its long history, the Society has organized and sponsored some of the most recognizable Scottish events in the region. From the early “Caledonian Games” precursors to what is now known as ScotFest – The British Columbia Highland Games to elegant gatherings like the St. Andrew’s Ball, the organization has consistently celebrated Scotland’s living traditions through dance, music, and fellowship.
