B.C. Pipers Association

The British Columbia Pipers’ Association (BCPA) is a volunteer-driven, charitable organization dedicated to supporting Highland bagpipers, drummers, and pipe bands across British Columbia, Washington, and Oregon.

As a registered Canadian charity, the BCPA plays a key role in promoting Scottish musical traditions by organizing and sanctioning Highland Games and solo competitions. It also publishes competition results, news, and educational resources to foster growth and excellence within the piping and drumming community.

Investing in the Future of Scottish Music

Beyond competitions, the BCPA invests in the future of Scottish music through bursaries, awards, and skill-building workshops. The association engages in school and community outreach to inspire the next generation of musicians. Its membership includes adjudicators, volunteers, soloists, pipe bands, and businesses passionate about piping and drumming. With a comprehensive events calendar, rules and bylaws, and an archive of newsletters and photos, the BCPA ensures Scottish heritage remains vibrant and celebrated for years to come.
